Cafe Conteno has two rooms available where local artists can display their artwork. We offer the space free of any charge or commission.

Why We Want to Display Local Artwork

We want to give artists who are looking for an opportunity to promote their work an outlet to do so. In San Miguel finding a gallery or location to show work can be difficult due to the number of working artists. For us, showing local work benefits the cafe because we get our walls redecorated regularly for the moderate cost of hanging a new show.

How Can I Display My Work?

Currently we have space available in January and February.

If you would like to display your work contact us at info@cafecontento.com or call 154-8020. If you would like to see the location come and visit us at Hernandez Macias #72, Centro. We are directly in from of Bellas Artes in the Plaza Golodrinas.

If you would like to host a reception, we can set up the event for you. Just so you know, hosting a reception does have a cost but we do our best to work within your budget.

Feel free to drop in without an appointment. We love to talk and we like to see what local artists are working on.

We do ask for a commitment to show your work for a minimum of three weeks and that you provide a framed bio that details your inspiration, experience, and contact information.
